2nd Board Meeting to plan for DG Official Visit

This board meeting was organised to discuss and plan the official visit of the District Governor, Rtn. Sree Ramulu Guttikonda. Various service projects were discussed and approved by the board and planned to be executed during the DG's official visit. New membership applications were also discussed to induct them during the public meeting of DG official visit. This was a breakfast meeting and took place at the office of our Board member Rtn. RC Kakinada 1st General Body Meeting

A closed-door general body meeting was held by the president, Rtn. Majid Hussain to present the service project roadmap and subscription fee structure for the RY Year 2026-2027. The president also updated the club with the service projects completed before the general body meeting. On the same day morning, on 9th July 2026, we conducted an Antenatal Care Camp for pregnant women, and the inauguration of Maternal and Child Health Month was done at the camp in the presence of our Assistant Governor, Club members, doctors, support staff, and patients. After the presentation by the president, the floor was open for discussion to the club members. During this open floor discussion, members got their questions and doubts cleared, and a general agreement was achieved among club members on the presented service projects and subscription fee structure. This meeting was held at SMS Rotary Service Centre, and the weekly lucky Rotarian draw was won by Rtn. Mootha Ramachandran

Speaker Meeting - Nutrition & Hygiene in Children

A speaker session was conducted on the topic of Nutrition & Hygiene in Children by a leading pediatrician of the city, Dr. Esther Soundharya Maddukuri. She spoke about children getting the right nutrition, following the right hygiene practices, etc. And the answers came with a lot of learning and new insights for our club members This was an interactive speaker session which was aimed at equipping parents with practical, science-backed tips to improve their child's nutrition, strengthen immunity, prevent common illnesses, and build healthy habits that last a lifetime. This meeting was held at SMS Rotary Service Centre, and the weekly lucky Rotarian draw was won by Rtn. Sama Satish

President, Secretary, and New Board Installation Club Service

President, Secretary, and New Board Installation

2nd July 2026, we conducted the installation program of the new President- Rtn. Majid Hussain, Secretary- Rtn. Manikanta Tummoju, and the Board of Directors at SMS Rotary Service Centre, Kakinada. DGE Rtn. P. Sobhan Prakash was the chief guest and the installation officer for this program. This event was attended by PDG Rtn. Lakkaraju Satyanarain, PDG Rtn. SVS Rao, IPDG Y Kalyan Chakravarthy, President & Secretaries of other Rotary Clubs in town, Club Members and their family members. Multiple service projects were undertaken and announced by the president on this occasion. Like previous years, our club has extended the "Weekly Lucky Rotarian Draw" this year as well, and the winner for the 1st weekly meeting's Lucky Rotarian Draw was Rtn. Murthy Chittoory. This event was covered by media houses like KCC News, Eenadu, Sakshi, Andhra Jyoti, News Express, Major News, Godavari Teeram, etc.
